These two videos go in depth about the origins of religion, they're long, but well worth watching... It's amazing what we can all be ignorant about and how much sense things really make once they're explained.

I love this. I try to point the role of religious syncretism out to Christians all the time and they just get upset :D

Not to convert anyone, of course, just to make them think about their beliefs.
